Yamato Sushi & Steak House

The food is amazing but takeout is definitely the best option. They prioritize take out over dine in. We got all but one of our appetizers and then the last one and our main courses were either forgotten or not prioritized over take out. We watched every other table, including those who came after us, get their food (the same thing we ordered) and ours never came. We were there for an hour and a half before we gave up and asked them to cancel the rest of our order and let us pay for what's we ate. Very disappointed because we've always loved this place.

Very quick, clean, and FRESH! Great experience with the kiddos (not thier first w/sushi) and a few sweet treats for afterwards. They request lunch here often and happy to oblige. Sure beats the "fast-food" alternative. Service is very attentive without being overbearing. Def recommend if in the area.

Yamatos is really a great restaurant food is always good!...BUT they really need to hire a second person to help with the orders and front of house stuff. Even if it is just for weekends / holidays. It just kinda sucks when we see our order on the counter but we are waiting 20 minutes for the couple of people in front of us because their food isn't ready yet. Other than that much Love!!!

The juiciest, the most tender, overall the best filet mignon we've ever had!!!! Our dear waitress accommodated our gluten free request so well (we had brought our own gf soy sauce just in case but they didn't even need it!) The timing, the service, the hospitality, the taste, the prices... no words! Everything has been incredible. Thank you so much! 10000/10 recommend.

Boyfriend and I have been ordering here about once a month for the last year (if not more), because it's that good. Especially around here where there is not much variety. Our go-to's are the gyoza, yakiniku, and steak and shrimp-highly recommend. Always hot and always delicious!!
