Just came back here after 4 years! Supa tuna don still my favorite! But literally all the foods here is good. And have a great atmosphere for hang out and catch up with friends! 🤩👍
Food is always good and not too expensive here, it’s very dependable in that way. Service is great as well, especially for how busy and cramped it can be. In terms of atmosphere, it’s lively, fun, and loud which I love, but sometimes they seat people way too close to each other and we had no room at all with the 6 people we had. They added 2 chairs on one end of a 4 person seat and one of my friends was barely able to eat on the table. All in all I recommend this place because it’s classic and delicious but unless you get that one table at the front, the back in quite crowded for a sizable group. 1-4 people I think is ideal.
I really wanted to like this place, but the food was a major letdown. I came specifically for the yakitori, so I can’t speak to the rest of the menu, but what I ordered was disappointing. The chicken skin was soggy instead of crisp, the beef was tough and difficult to eat, and the garlic was served unpeeled. After a few bites, I left the meal mostly untouched. I get that the restaurant caters to a student crowd, but I was hoping for better quality. On the positive side, the atmosphere is nice and the staff is genuinely friendly.
I love this restaurant. It has been over 15 years since I ate here last. But this place is as great as I remembered.
It has been 18 years since I have visited this amazing place last time. It has not been changed a bit, the atmosphere, quality of food and everything which made me almost cried when I tasted the food today. I have so much of great memories with good people at this place when I lived in NY. I feel so grateful that this place is still there. And I was very glad that I could come to this place with my 10 years old son. I really really wish I can come here with my family again!
