Ya hala

Travelling from UK where Halal is widely available, I wasn't expecting such a marvellous food with great service/hospitality from both the gentlemen serving there. We ordered Tacos, spicy sauces wings, sub cheese, mix rice with sauces and fries. I must say, every single item was super tasty. I would highly recommend Ya Hala to everyone travelling to Albany. You wont get disappointed. 5 starts for sure.

This place deserves three Michelin stars. In a perfect world I would eat here every day of my life. I’ve been coming here for years. Whenever friends come in from out of town this is the first place I show them. I would lay down my life for the owner. I spend every waking hour thinking about their chicken over rice platter. My life is simply killing time until I can get my grubby mitts on my next order.

10/10 Experience as a whole. I’m visiting from Yonkers. The owner Sal is a phenomenal cook and super kind and welcoming. The staff is friendly and the food is amazing. I had the Lamb Tacos and Chicken and Lamb over rice. So so Tasty. I highly recommend this hidden gem !! 😉

This spot is the BEST! Food is full of flavor no matter what you get. The meltdown plates and tacos are incredible! The staff is friendly and will to accommodate whatever you want. The desserts are also very good. Price is good too, well worth it for the portion size and quality. Highly recommend!

We stopped by here on the way back to NYC from Vermont. The food definitely exceeded our expectations, but the service is what stood out. The owners were so nice and appreciative to have us at their restaurant. We ordered many different dishes and everyone loved their food. We left so stuffed and happy with the experience. Highly recommend!
