Woodbine Inn and Restaurant

We happened upon this beautiful and Victorian styled inn, and it was the best thing that ever happened to us. With 2 young toddlers we had to be very vigilant so not to break any of the wonderful decorative pieces throughout the entire inn, but it was worth the extra supervision. The room we had was gorgeous and very clean. They provided us with a pac and play as well as high chairs. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed for the adults as well as the kids. We never wanted for anything. The service was beyond anything we had ever experienced. Genuine, compassionate and extremely hospitable inn and so easily accessible off the highway. Had an absolutely wonderful experience! The hotel is charming, the amenities wonderful and the restaurant fabulous! Conveniently located just a short drive from the Houston/Austin/Dallas areas would highly recommend for a quick getaway. Definitely look forward to our next couples night out!!

Staying at Woodbine Inn has been an exceptional experience from start to finish. I last stayed here in 2019, and returning now after the full renovation is nothing short of impressive. The transformation is remarkable. Every room is thoughtfully redesigned, beautifully decorated, and completely unique—no cookie-cutter feel anywhere. The upgrades are tasteful, modern, and still respectful of the character of the inn. The bathrooms alone deserve special recognition: spotless, high-end, and clearly designed with comfort in mind. The restaurant is on another level. The food is unbelievably well prepared—fresh, flavorful, and executed with real care. If you’re looking for the coziest little spot with total Gilmore Girls vibes, Woodbine Inn is it. The food was absolutely incredible—every single dish tasted homemade in the best, most comforting way. But what really made our stay special were the owners. They treated us like we were longtime friends and made our girls’ trip feel truly one-of-a-kind. We left with full hearts, full bellies, and a new favorite place to come back to.
