Larry's Countrystyle BBQ

This is the GO TO spot!! The food is amazing, customer service was excellent and they saved the day for the birthday party! We were in a pinch, the caterer just ghosted us, no food, 40 people sitting around waiting.. I called Larry’s and they were quick to get us hooked up with the best BBQ around! Cannot thank them enough! I recommend this place 100000! Brisket, sausage, potato salad, and bbq sauce, extremely fair on price and quick on service! Thank you all again so much!!!!!

Overall - an enjoyable lunch that I would gladly repeat. I ordered a two meat plate with brisket and pork ribs, and with beans and potato salad sides. I'm not sure how much meat they gave me, but it felt like the portions were considerably larger than normal. I don't typicaly use much sauce, but I forgot to tell them to put it on the side, so the meats were drenched in it. But really... I sort of enjoyed it; the sauce had a great flavor, and helped the brisket that I felt like was a little lean for my taste. The ribs had a nice flavor too, but were a little chewy. Neither of the meats had a lot of smoke flavor. Unlike what others have said, I enjoyed the potato salad, and the beans were fine. It looks like he is about done with a building behind his trailer. I eat a lot of barbecue places and so please understand that I don't give fives unless it's like top-level barbecue cross the state of Texas. A rating of 3 is good bbq. The barbecue here is good, I had ribs and brisket. My sides were potato salad and beans. I give the brisket 3/5... I got some slices which were really lean slices, I should have asked for some fatty slices. The lean slices were well-cooked, not chewy, but they lacked flavor and the smoke ring was not highly visible. The ribs 3/5, they were nice and tender and had a good texture to them. I could taste what I think is a little bit of apple cider vinegar, so I like that little tartness in there. But the flavoring still fell flat for me. Hands down best brisket I've ever had. The BBQ sauce tastes great the beans were amazing. My father's brisket baked potato had to weigh 5lbs.

The smoked smell here is fantastic!! The chopped beef potato is HUGE!! The ribs potato was flavorful but not nearly as good as the beef, at least on this day. The ribs had good flavor, don't get me wrong but the beef was tender, juicy, seasoned well and loaded on the potato. The ladies in the kitchen worked fast! A great lunch stop for sure!
