Customer Reviews
Overall, a great evening. We walked in after a hike and grabbed a seat at the bar. Although, better known for their pizza, we had several other hearty entrees. Portion sizes were large and food was good. Now the tiramisu was EXCELLENT. We were talking with the bartender about their thanksgiving catering meal options, which sounded interesting.
My husband and I have been looking forward to trying Wood & Vine since it opened and it truly did not disappoint. The atmosphere is fantastic-the team put a lot of thought and effort into making the space aesthetic while also so welcoming. The service was fantastic. Our server, Catherine, was great and so attentive. The entire team was so dedicated to ensuring all patrons had the best experience-in the middle of our dinner it started to pour. Ourselves and several other guests were outside when it began to rain and quickly funneled inside. The Wood & Vine team worked so quickly to be able to accommodate everyone inside-I was so impressive and grateful! Above all-the food was absolutely fantastic. I would highly recommend the tomato pie and ravioli. My husband had the fancy pants pizza and
Arrived early and headed for a drink. Nice guys working the bar. Not the best inventory or knowledge but got fixed up. We had a nice table by the windows. We ordered apps, salads more wine. Did not get much help from the wait staff and miss and over ordered. We received the incorrect main courses and accepted them anyway. The food was great but the service was confused and came in at all times. Will try again.
We live in the area and were excited that a new place opened with a nice atmosphere and good food but this last visit will be our final one. In short, the two of us had a small flatbread pizza, mussels and one glass of (house) wine each. After tip and tax our bill was nearly $110. For that price I could have gone to one of Ashevilles best restaurants and had a much more fultilling culinary experience. Just not worth that kind of money. Sorry
The owner Val was wonderful to collaborate with for an annual private party. The location strikes the right balance of elevated and approachable - the food was nothing short of delicious! Polenta, Roast Beef, Chicken, assorted Artisanal Cheese, Tuna Crudo, Roasted Artichokes… fabulous!
