Mountain Bird Chicken

If you’re looking for an epic fried chicken experience. You found it! Mountain Bird is not your everyday chicken tender. Takes crisp to the next level!! One of those places that you want to bring your friend to in town to splurge on your diet and forget about your responsibilities. Flavor explosions.. a battlefield for tastebuds. We just had the new “Chicken Hot Pie” which carries its own signature separate from the menu. Cozy winter food. But we alwayyyys get one of the wedge salads and something with their epic fried chicken on it! Sure to impress. Proud to call it Brevard’s 🫶 Great job Mountain Bird! Can’t wait to see where they take it.

With such rave reviews I was excited to give this place a try. Unfortunately when it comes to flavor this place was just average. Nothing special. They even charged me for extra pickles. .50$ for two extra slices! - hamburger style not sandwich style. Cost was not factored into my review - if I had I would have given fewer stars. The Chicken Sandwich Connoisseur has spoken.

We tried out the new fried chicken spot in town and it did not disappoint! We had the chicken tenders, coleslaw, and the buffalo chicken sandwich with ranch coleslaw and fries, everything was absolutely delicious. Just a heads-up, the buffalo chicken sandwich packs some heat (spicy, spicy!) but in the best way. Since they’re brand new, there was a tiny bit of a wait, but the staff was so apologetic and kind that it didn’t bother us at all and honestly, the food was well worth it. The service was wonderful, and they bring the food right out to your table, which is such a nice touch. I also really appreciate that they have indoor seating, it makes the whole experience even better. Getting in and out of the restaurant was surprisingly easy too, which is a big plus. We’ll definitely be back

Such a great experience! This was our 2nd trip. First trip we did take out & it was phenomenal! Today we ate here & sat down. Such a great use of an old building. They added some small town charm for sure! Now for the food: holy crap it’s so good! We drive exactly 1 hour & 15 minutes for this & never been disappointed. Meanwhile, near us they continue to add new chains but nothing compares to mountain chicken. They also do catering so for our upcoming events we’re going to likely consult them & have them in our rotation for feeding friends & family! The fries are seasoned so so good The chicken is crispy! The sauces are so flavorful! Don’t skimp try it all you won’t be disappointed!

So i decided to give mountain bird a try i was reluctant because of the menu prices I got the hot honey chicken biscuit earlier in the week the biscuit its self was very good and then the huge piece of chicken was very good and with the hot honey it was very tasty and very filling im a big guy and just the biscuit filled me up so last night I decided to try the tenders I got the 4 piece which was a mistake the 4 piece is enough for two people again very tasty not over breaded and the chicken was juicy and tender the sauces I tried were very good we will definitely be back now we see that you get your money's worth from very friendly and humble owners and staff thank you
