Customer Reviews
I can't believe I haven't seen a show here sooner. This place truly is Brevards backyard with such a laid back and welcoming vibe. I was going to try a beer but when I found out they use fresh squeezed juice for their cocktails I had to get a Greyhound. I don't see that too often so it was a nice surprise. Looking forward to going back for another show and trying their food.
RELAX! Super "Dog Friendly" hangout. The staff was easy going, honestly felt like we had gone to a cool social event at a friends house. Indoor and out doors. Great brews, food, music, games. We went twice, hung out on a rainy day watching football, listened to the band and had an awesome time.
So I was in maghie valley n found out this joint had a Grateful Dead tribute band, "Jerry's Dead." They were good. Fed my spirit. 185 king, is a local tavern with an excelant layout. Inside n outside seating. Canopy coverage for the outside. Small menu, every looked n smelled good, pool table, game boards, bar. And when the band came on, a small dancing area. I am so happy I made the 1hr drive n got my fix of THE GOOD OLE GRATEFUL DEAD. Home town bar. I loved it.
Imagine going to your friend's backyard and he opens his garage so you can listen to your favorite band play. Of course, the next door neighbor is a local brewer and she has made skills. Her hubby ain't too bad in the kitchen either. So you are chilling with your friends, listening to great music, drinking killer beer while devouring the best burger you've had since god knows when. 185 King is that.
Food is okay; however the atmosphere is great. I ordered chicken shawarma and a salad. The live band was good.
