Wolter's Shoreview Supper Club

We had a wonderful time exploring the bar area of this local spot! The atmosphere is fantastic, and the bartender was incredibly kind and welcoming, which really made our evening. It’s clear this place has a lot of history and charm. ​While it was a high energy Valentine's night with a busy holiday rush, the bar service truly shined. For those who love a true rare steak, they definitely won't shy away from a bold sear here! It’s a classic Wisconsin landmark with great vibes...perfect for a night out centered around the bar and the friendly staff there. Definitely recommending giving the steaks a try

Absolutely horrible. Our waitress Jamie smelled like she didn't shower in days. It took 30+ minutes for them to even realize we were there and another table actually pointed us out to them. We weren't offered our dessert nor champagne that came with the meal on valentine's, and the waitress threw a bit of a fit when it came to refunding the salad bar (which the menu said was a thing if we didn't want it) and offered to let us get it to go AFTER we got our food. The salad bar was basically bare and the plates were out for over an hour. We sat there for 2.5 hours eith a VERY impatient toddler. It used to be such a good place. Really not thrilled. The bartender was atleast nice and the bar area was also nice. The steak was WAYYY too raw even for my husband who LOVES very rare steak. I do NOT

Ordered to go because I was feeling under the weather. I did order my prime rib rare however after my 2 mile drive home it was completely cold all the way through for a $125 bill I can't believe I was served cold meat that doesn't look like it has been cooked at all, almost no flavor even on the outside. I grew up loving this place and am very disappointed with how downhill it has gone.

Sat down at 5:20, waited six minutes before leaving. Not even an acknowledgment that we were waiting. Sign says to seat yourself. Three other tables of two. Two waitresses. While we waited, two tables had dishes cleared, one had bill presented, one had orders served and a second table had trip for sauce. Not even a “hi, we’ll be with you in a minute”. One waitress coughed - like a sick sounding cough. Waitresses looked slovenly - the puke green shirts might be to partly to blame. We hadn’t been here in years due to awful service and food…I guess same old, same old. Side note: The atmosphere seems great, quiet (of course it will be if no one can get served), beautiful views and love the ambience.

My boyfriend and I had such a great Valentine's date at Wolter’s! It’s that perfect, cozy Wisconsin supper club vibe that you just can’t beat. We started with a few Brandy Old Fashioneds at the bar, and the staff was so welcoming despite it being a busy holiday night. The Prime Rib was huge and cooked perfectly, and I loved that the salad bar and dessert were included—it’s such a nice classic touch. Sitting right by Pike Lake made the whole night feel extra special and romantic. If you’re looking for a solid, relaxing date spot, this is definitely it. We’ll be back!
