Having shredded pickles would replace you as my goto lunch from G&L! And Possibly my local since I can only get an "Ultra Dog" from Yesterdog. ... too far for lunch.
Excellent gyros and Italian beef sandwiches. If you're from the Chicago area, this is authentic Chicago food! You can take out or eat at the shaded picnic tables at this location.
Delicious hotdogs here at Witty's. I've been waiting for a place like this in Whitehall for a long time. Cheese fry is also super tasty. Hotdogs and fries remind me of Portillo's down in Chicago - same level of quality and taste! They have Vienna Beef for their dogs. Worth every penny! I'll be going back!
We love Witty's!!! Their food is amazing!!! The owners it are such wonderful people. We love going and having lunch or dinner here or taking it to go.
Chicago dog was ok...too much mustard..and if there was neon green relish I missed it...looking forward to trying the combo, and regular Italian beef.
