Winterset Public Library

Nice little library and community center. Kids section is nice and somewhat separate from the rest of the library. Makes it nice with not so quiet kiddos.

LOVE The Winterset Public Library. Very kind and helpful people, wonderful programs and a great space to have meetings. I can't say enough good things about this library!

They have a great staff who are very willing to answer questions and offer their assistance. The library also offers many interesting and informative programs and services for young and old alike. There is a great selection of books, movies and music available for the public to enjoy. They also offer many different types of crafts and hobby equipment for use free of charge. Check it out!

Always friendly and knowledgeable employees. Never to busy to help me. A pleasant and pleasing experience every time. Their employees are very knowledgeable and friendly.

Winterset's library is an excellent facility. They have the newest books as soon as they're published, as well as inter-library loan service for older or harder to find titles. Public use computers, of course; genealogy services, a separate children's library section with scheduled activities, meeting rooms available for various purposes, and a seasoned staff, qualified to help with patrons' needs. The library also provides a regular schedule of events of interest, open to the public and at convenient hours.
