Winks Ice Cream

Stopped by while visiting Kitty Hawk for the first time and needed something refreshing. Ended up deciding on a Carolina Peach milkshake and WOW! It was exactly what I needed on this hot day after walking the beach. Not only was the shake amazing, but the team working Winks is incredibly nice, answered all of my questions about the really cool flavor names on the menu (Sea Turtle & Super Cow), and just gave overall positive vibes as the NEW OWNERS of Winks!

Looking for a great spot to grab a cold treat on a hot day? - this is it. The staff here are super friendly and give great recommendations. Decided to go with a peach milkshake and it did not disappoint. Absolutely delicious.

We got here at 8:40 on a friday night and they were completely closed, nobody around. Call ahead because they arent open during their posted hours

This place is adorable— like something out of a nostalgic movie set in OBX. The people here are kind and happy to indulge your very specific milkshake requests. My daughter had her heart set on half Oreo-half mint chocolate chip— and it was no problem here. We loved this place so much we went two days in a row. I’m sure we’ll swing by again before we leave.
