Wholesome Butcher and Deli

Lovely store with beautiful ambiance. It has been newly renovated with inside and outside seating available. They have a wide selection of different types of meats. Lots of locally produced food items. Daily lunch specials are available. Reasonable prices. Janet and Priscilla were friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend a stop here.

Always friendly and the food is fresh. Not overly expensive. I like the products they carry and for a tiny place they have a lot.

Living in SC now I miss the local butchers in the area where I could get some great meats and that good ole’ country ham. While coming back up visiting family I stopped in to Wholesome Foods for the first time just before Christmas and picked up a bunch of quality meats for over the holidays. All of their meats are great including that country ham. The staff are all wonderful and friendly and glad to help ya’. The kind lady that helped me gave me a pack of hamburger to try from my purchase and being my first time there. Needless to say she knew what they had in their hamburger for it could have been the best that I’ve had. When coming back north again I’ll be stopping in to Wholesome Foods again.

This establishment was exceptional. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here, the staff, and the interior design. It exceeded my expectations.

EDIT: My earlier review is still on here just below what I am writing now. I came back even though I was not sure I would. I still do not like the new outlay and some of the employees really do not know the job. Turnover seems to be an issue here when before it seemed to always be someone we knew. But yesterday, and for not the first time, I was in the store to purchase some Bacon. Staff was friendly. But when I pulled up there were a lot of cars parked right in front of the store. Inside I was the only customer. When I left, another customer had come in but there were 7 cars there including mine and the other customer. Is WF allowing employees to park in the spots in front of the store? That seems odd but yet there were nowhere near the customers present as there were cars. If
