Shenandoah County Library

The librarians and staff here are absolutely wonderful. I came in to print and fax some important documents that I had been struggling to send for days—the files were too large, and after waiting a long time for the fax to process, it failed. I was frustrated, but the staff went above and beyond to help. They showed me how to condense the files so I could successfully email them instead. I was so relieved and grateful—I hadn’t even realized they could assist with something like that! Beyond their helpfulness, the library itself is a calm, welcoming environment and an incredible community resource. From access to books and technology to events and learning opportunities, this library truly supports the community.

Great for remote work stop on a roadtrip/vanlife. 19 minutes from free camping in national forest. Soundproof booth for video calls, lockable bathroom if you need to change clothes, lots of outlets to charge devices. The wifi was a little slow in the soundproof booth but it was fine as long as i closed my browser and other internet accessing apps

They now offer a story time for 5-10 yr olds on Wednesday. It’s been a great opportunity to meet other homeschooling families.

Visited the library. Not sure what a library should be but this was a good experience. Staff was friendly, greeting us as we arrived and wishing us well on the way out. Several comfortable seating areas, a viewing area, movies to check out. A children's area was near the entrance.
