Our host, Laura, begins the experience by sharing the story of the vessel and why she loves it: you just know you're going to end up enjoying the adventure. Since they've acquired the Slowseason, she's been updated and we found her very clean and beautiful. The bed was comfortable although both cabins could be difficult to access if a guest has mobility problems (but otherwise another part of the unique experience). Breakfast in the sunshine on the deck was lovely and graciously served. We enjoyed lingering on deck much of the evening under provided cozy blankets with a glass of wine-just watching the boats and ferry sail into the harbor. We felt like the boat was our very own for a space in time where life slowed down to take it all in...at least for the moment. Will definitely ret

Always looking for something a bit different for lodging to make travel fun. First, there are 2 berths on this boat. I'd recommend the aft berth for those physically capable of a straight drop down to their accommodations. Access to the forward berth is easier to traverse for those with mobility issues. ||The aft berth is tight but very comfortable, watch your head when you get out of bed or straighten up from a bend. There were issues with the marine toilet and I would inquire as to whether it has been replaced before booking. We were there for 1 night and it would not operate after the first use so spent our time traversing to the restrooms at the end of the pier.||The forward berth was nice and roomy with a separate living room and bedroom...with a newer toilet that worked beautifully (

This funky place was worth every penny. Not often that you find a B&B on a boat, and this boat was a handmade, vintage-feel, very solid affair. Charmingly decorated and very comfortable. Not for the mobility-impaired, obviously, but equipped with every reasonable amenity. Laura, the owner, clearly enjoys running her business, prepares a great breakfast, and is a great source of local sightseeing info. We had to leave early on the day of departure and she made up a lavish breakfast-to-go.

Wanting to get away for the summer, my girlfriend and I looked into a number of possible bed & breakfasts in the Friday Harbor area. Once we stumbled upon Wharfside B&B, we were drawn to the unique nature of its location and offering. Upon meeting with the lady who runs the B&B, we were introduced to the fascinating history behind the yacht and the inspiration for her being built. ||Breakfast was served promptly at 9 AM, with an array of pancakes, eggs, sausage, fruits with granola and yogurt (your menu items may vary) with delicious coffee. ||My overall experience was great, but it would have been nice if Laura mentioned that the water is turned off at midnight, so we weren't shocked when we tried to flush the toilet with nothing happening. Alternatively, we could have taken a shower and

Our experience was less than pleasurable. We have been around boats most of our lives and have owned many, so we had some pretty high expectations based on how we kept our boats. If you are planning to stay on this boat you must be prepared for some very rustic and less then modern accommodations. We stayed in the aft cabin which is designed for someone of short stature, no more than 5'5'. The head didn't work , and there is no shower. The ventilation is limited so make sure that it is not to hot when you stay. The boat in our opinion is in really bad shape, it needs a great deal of maintenance and repair to make it even close to ideal. To top it off the boat next to us was partying well into the night with load music and talking so be prepared.
