Kirk House Bed & Breakfast

Steve was a great host, and he was very gracious in giving ideas of what to do around the island. The room was very comfortable, with the perfect mix of charm and upgrades. The breakfasts were great, starting with a yogurt parfait with granola and fresh fruit every morning and including more homemade breakfast items that were different each day (the frittata was especially good) - plenty of food and well prepared. Steve also provided fresh coffee at our door every morning and fresh treats in the common area every afternoon, which were unexpected but very much appreciated pleasures. Finally, the location was perfect, being an easy walk to restaurants, shops, and bars in Friday Harbor, but a few blocks away from the busy area.

An amazing B&B within walking distance of Friday Harbor. The house is incredibly charming, and feels well maintained while still having that edge that only an old building can provide. Breakfast was excellent and was served in the main room with other guests, which made for a fun morning catching up with what other folks had planned for the day. Steve, the owner, was very kind and even offered to drive us into town the last day. He also had a lot of interesting knowledge about the house that I otherwise wouldn't have known. Overall an incredible place to stay, and worth every penny!

In Friday Harbor for a 3 night stay around a wedding. We found this wonderful B&B with Google Maps & TripAdvisor. The location has great walkability to the center of town, ferry and restaurants. Loved the beautifully restored old house, the atmosphere and conversation with Steve, the host, and the other guests around the wonderful breakfasts. 7:00 am coffee pot at the door was cute. We would highly recommend this B&B.

The Kirk House Bed & Breakfast is a wonderful place in a central location and a short walk away from the business district and marina of Friday Harbor. Steve, the owner and host is a pleasant and welcoming human being. He has a wealth of information about the island and gladly supplied it upon request. He is an excellent chef as our daily breakfasts were nutritious, delicious and varied. The accomodations are what one expects from a very nice, quaint bed and breakfast. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. The furniture in the general area is also very comfortable. There is a lovely porch/veranda that we used for a quick lunch. We had a great visit to Friday Harbor and loved staying at the Kirk House B&B! It has a nice, comfortable living room area that we used in the evenings. Steve made us a wonderful breakfast each morning! Downtown is a short walk so we didn’t have to hassle with parking in town. I definitely recommend these accommodations!
