Westville Upper West Side

If you’re in the Upper West Side in New York, and you’re visiting the Museum of American History, you’ve gotta stop by this spot after. The food is amazing — the soup is delicious, the bowls are awesome, and the service is a solid 10/10. Everyone’s super friendly. Plus, you eat really well without spending a ton of money! Every time I come to New York, I’m definitely coming back here!

A well lit bistro, excellent service, original entrées, crunchies veggies, excellent "beverages." I had the falafel without the pita (they were most accomodating an elderly gentleman with crashing bloodsugar), two Catskill pilsners, a huge plate of sautée brussel sprouts. Oh so good. An unexpected joyeuse festival on Broadway. The patience of the staff borders on indulgence.

Ohhhh the best Greek Salad I’ve ever had! Please go there! I added the great sweet potato fries to my salad and it was epic! (The Parmesan was added from another salad we ordered 😅)

I took the girls for dinner here after the color factory to my disappointment. I’ve eaten at westville east before many times - the service and the food is much better. We were the only table seated inside the restaurant so I would expect better service than what we got. Firstly, upon receiving the food the Mac & cheese bowl was huge so I asked if that was the kids Mac that I ordered and was told no it’s a regular side. The manager offered for me to keep it and he would edit the check. My string beans were under cooked texture similar to chewing rubber but I did eat them because the sauce was so amazing. If you have kids, Westville on Broadway is fantastic. It’s very family-friendly, bright, and surprisingly spacious. The menu leans healthy, is extensive, and works just as well for brunch as it does for lunch or dinner. The value is honestly hard to beat for New York City. A large portion of scrambled eggs with home fries and toast for $13 is almost unheard of. The fries are excellent, they have all the basics like good coffee, and a great selection of grilled vegetables as well. This is not the place for a boozy, loud brunch, but for everyone else it’s a winner. Just make a reservation, especially on weekends around late morning. Five stars, easily.
