Westlake Chinese Restaurant

The food was absolutely awful, bland, dry and over cooked. I got the combination fried rice and my grandmother got vegetable lo mein. Honestly even the crab rangoons were really bad too. The only edible thing was the egg drop soup. As for the restaurant itself it was cleaned and well organized but the food is just not good. It is a small town so you cant expect much.

My husband and I wanted to try a new place today. We wasn't starving however we wanted to sample. We tried a bite of everything that was available. Some of the food had been there a while, some trays were empty. The nice lady let us know when the trays were refilled. The top 3 items of mine were: stuffed mushrooms (heavy with cream cheese), the fresh beef and broccoli, and spicy string beans. The battered coconut shrimp was dry but I still enjoyed it. The orange chicken was fresh and I liked the sauce. They had 2 soup options, the classic egg drop and hot and sour. The price was really good and surprised us for a Sunday buffet. We paid less than $22 total.

Best Chinese food we've found in the area! Fried rice is delicious and we also had the sesame beef and sesame chicken. It was so good! We've done a couple take out orders recently.

Excellent food, even at 2pm when we were the only people here for 15+ minutes. The Rangoon is the same as Hong's Buffet (excellent) and our waitress has also been seen there. The service was impecable. Nice and clean, good food options on the buffet, and very friendly staff. Buffet features BBQ ribs, great Lo Mein, stuffed mushrooms, and a good dessert bar with pre-portioned ice cream. Pepsi products for drinks. Saturday lunch cost $8.04ea with $1.50ea sodas. 2 people for $19.08. We will be back!

Hadn’t been in a few years because food didn’t seem as good as in the past. Chalked up to covid time and went again last week. Very good! Did lunch buffet on Saturday and really liked it! Hubby and son too! Chicken fried rice was as good as remembered, crab Rangoon, etc! Glad we gave another try!
