Paradise Ice Cream Parlor

Great hidden gem. It was about an hour before the place was open. The owner was cooking at Captains Corner but decided to let me and my wife in so we could get Ice Cream. Great friendly place and great thick and rich Ice Cream

The most perfect hidden gem of Smithville Lake. The retro vibes matched with the vast array of ice cream variations made for such a fun date night. We galavanted here without kids to check for DF options and were happy to see they do in fact offer oat milk options! We will definitely be bringing our family back for more ice cream dates!

Super cute fun place to get icecream. The atmosphere was the cherry on top. Great music that set the stage even more ♡ We ordered a single scoop cone and a rootbeer float. Absolutely love it here and will be back again!

We walked over after dinner at Captain’s Corner and stumbled upon this cute little ice cream shop—what a treat! The ice cream was delicious, with plenty of flavor options and generous portions. But the best part? As a little girl, I always dreamed of being Barbie—and this place made that dream come true! Such a fun, whimsical vibe that brought out my inner child. A perfect way to end the evening. Can’t wait to go back!

Drove 30 minutes. Verified they were open before we left both on Google and checked their FB page. Hours posted on door as 1-7. Website said OPEN and listed hours 12-8pm. They were closed. Walked over to Captains Corner (same owner) across the street and inquired about the Hot Chocolate they were preparing special for the holidays. It was not the owner but the woman working said no one’s been over there today. I said the website says right now that it’s open. She glared at me and said “I’ll tell her”. Rude and unapologetic. I always try to support local and have supported this business in the past. I won’t be doing that any longer. Neither will the friends that I brought with me after I saw the FB post about the Hot Chocolate.
