Wrapping up the day here couldn’t have been better. The meat was tender and packed with flavor, and every side dish was cooked just right. The cheesy corn and crispy tater tots easily stole the show for me. The team was welcoming and attentive, and the spot itself is ideally located for strolling around the downtown area afterward. A relaxing, satisfying stop that hit all the right notes.

Fantastic BBQ sauces and tender meat make this restaurant the perfect recipe! Excellent food, service, atmosphere! The staff is friendly and helpful! It's not a huge restaurant, and it fills up quickly! They can accommodate 1 or 8 quickly and easily! Impressive! The menu is vast even if you don't eat BBQ! Excellent dinner, and we'd love to return for dinner once again! Parking is abundant on the street and all around!

Soooo good! One of the best bbq places I’ve eaten at since moving to MO. I’ve tried a bunch of items on the menu and have loved it every time. The corn nuggets are awesome and the sweet potato fries are some of the best I’ve ever tasted! They have an awesome, savory seasoning on them that make them extraordinary. The service is great, too! Very friendly and attentive waiters and waitresses. We have been here many times and will continue to eat at Chops!

I have been wanting to try this place for a while. Finally tried it yesterday. I had a burnt ends sandwich with beans on the side. I judge BBQ places by how well they handle these. The burnt ends were moist and tasty. The beans were above average. There were 3 flavors of sauce and I liked all of them. It's definitely a place I will return to so I can try more of their dishes.

Great BBQ spot in downtown Smithville. Enjoyed a loaded pulled pork sandwich and tots for the Tues special... great value at $10! Loved the sauce options - Sweet, Bold and Hot. Brown butcher table and crayons on the table for aspiring artists..fun for kids and adults. Our orders came out quickly and Bre was welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend Chops!
