West End Saloon

This bar is like 2 miles off of main St in Palmerton. Looks like a converted house from outside but inside is very nice even cozy. Service was excellent and food was good place was clean. Ordered a burger and it was good, I did not order the wings but people next to me did and they looked and smelled delicious. Would definitely return

Never in 50+ years have I waited so long for a turkey club. Never in 50+ years have I been served such a small turkey club. There might - MIGHT - have been 2 pieces of bacon on it? The picture I’ve included is of a standard size food basket - and there’s obviously a TON of empty space on it. No idea how this place rates a 4.6. I presume that the locals must have low expectations.

Love it here!! The food and service is always amazing!! The new bar in the back is a beautiful work of art!! The grilled shrimp salad, the chicken taco, and the honey mild boneless buffalo bites are all a go-to of mine!!

We felt so unwelcome here. There were multiple empty tables (it was 4pm) and the man seating us let out a huge sigh and looked so annoyed we were there. He just told us “to go to the corner and someone will be there sometime”. Food was good, bartender came over once and was kind, but the man waiting on all the tables made us- and the tables around us- feel as if we were bothering him. There were at least 5 empty tables while we were there. We will not be returning. There are too many local places to support that don’t make you feel so unwelcome.

Went on a Thursday night, service was friendly, food came out relatively quick but the food definitely needs work. Very average bar food. Came on taco night. Tacos were over seasoned and tasted like wing sauce, shrimp cocktail tasted like low budget store bought, just not great unfortunately. Nice atmosphere though. Homemade pierogis were outstanding, best dish we had.
