Absolutely stunning building, you can tell a lot of effort and love has gone into it. The rooms are a great size, and so clean! Simple breakfast in the morning, delivered to your room or various available common areas in the building. Fantastic location, easily accessible. I would come back to the area simply to stay here again.

An interesting place. Well maintained 1800s home. They host events and artist residencies. It’s different from a standard hotel and is designed to feel old fashioned but restored by artists instead of the standard way. Very labor intensive carpeting and even blankets being created locally by small artists. A beautiful and fun place to see. (I saw a review about someone complaining they don’t have TVs etc inside and that it’s old - that’s the point) This is very much a themed destination; don’t go if you don’t like that theme lol. It’s not one of those places where it’s just the facade of the building and the interior is fully gutted to be a brand new clean slate. It’s more of an artists’ retreat.

If you like cockroaches, this is your kind of place. We killed them in the dining room. Breakfast is a big disappointment. This is not a standard B&B. Storm windows banging in the wind at night keeps you up. There is no TV. It’s not clean. The shower is rain head only with creepy tile design. Creaky floors and thin walls make it a noisy place. I’m not sure if the 5 star reviews I saw here are legit? But it did suck me in, but you have been warned by an honest review. We stay in B&Bs often and we left after one night. It was that bad. Of course there was no refund on pre-paid 2nd night when we were told a manager would call. Never happened. No surprise. Filter for the 1 star reviews. I read most of them now and they are accurate but buried by these hard to believe 5 star reviews. No exper

Beautiful historic b&b whose profits go to help support artists. Comfy rooms, well staffed, full of fun little artistic details everywhere. 10/10 would absolutely return.

Had a lovely romantic night here with my darling boy! Got to enjoy oat-based breakfast options (including my first time having coffee milk) a lovely bath and a nice sleep in a large, beautiful room. Did some nice reading outside on the lawn, and got a postcard! So cool to support local artists and sleep in such a work of art ! Loved the charming anthology of stories and art about the house too that was in the room!! Highly recommend for any visits to Providence.
