This is what diners are all about. Comfortable local atmosphere with plenty of hot coffee and heaping helpings of made to order delicious food. We've heard rumors about how this was a not to miss place. It was 100% worth the 20-minute drive that we finally made. There is plenty of seating, the staff are efficient and friendly, and the service without question among the best in the area. Portions were plentiful and everything was cooked just right. I highly recommend adding the blueberry pancakes as an upgraded side even for the modest up charge of $0.77. this is now on our go-to list. A couples breakfast out, the food is great. Service is great. And atmosphere for days.
Wonderful place to get a great breakfast. The restaurant is small but cozy. We always get the same waitress everything we're there and she's a lovely lady. Food comes out quickly and is always hot and fresh and very delicious. My personal favorite is the blueberry pancakes and eggs and bacon but they have other great options for both breakfast and lunch
A really popular local breakfast and lunch diner. Friends have been coming here for years as their Saturday Breakfast. Came for the first time at the tail-end of a Saturday lunch rush. The (2) Blueberry Pancakes with a side of fried apples was filling and delicious with fluffy pancakes and very hot apples. The Reuben on Rye was also good, despite looking a little underwhelming. The flavors was excellent and serving size acceptable. I would have liked a little more dressing on it, as I couldn't taste it at all. But the toasting of the rye was perfect. The Cinnamon Sweet Roll was superb and lived up to its name being very sweet. Very tender roll with generous cinnamon and glaze and it is generous in size. Seating can be a bit tight & noisy, but that can be expected for a local hot-spot.
Great hometown go to diner with all your southern favorites. Fried bologna, French toast, pancakes, chicken fried steak, and more. Whole menu all day. Great service and very welcoming.
I just recently started visiting Wessies Kitchen and I am wondering what took me so long. What a great place to eat. Great food and friendly atmosphere, my kind of place. Nothing fancy just good home cooked kinda food. If your looking for a good hamburger or a open face turkey gravy, smash potatoes and green beans this is the place. My favorite is the wing ding dinner with fries and green beans. Locally owned so come support a local business you won't be disappointed.
