Waverly Diner

A West Village Gem This was honestly the cutest place I’ve ever been to! As tourists, it still felt like a local spot—which made the experience that much better. Getting to soak in the West Village vibe while sitting in this small, cozy diner was everything. It felt intimate, classic, and a little like having breakfast with old money regulars—such a fun, unexpected vibe! We had fancy cereal, the most delicious cheese omelet, and hands down the best apple juice I’ve ever tasted. Everything just hit the spot. It was a little on the pricey side, but for the quality and experience, it was totally worth it. I felt safe, happy, and had a truly special birthday breakfast. Easily one of my favorite moments of the trip. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a cozy, authentic New York breakfast mom

The Waverly Diner is my office away from the office and my home away from home. Now that I no longer live in the city, I still meet my tenants, brokers and associates at the Waverly Diner when I come up to New York each month to check on my six historic townhouses in the West Village. The food may be your typical diner fare, but the staff is A++ and they’re there and they care!

Came here for my first meal in New York and food was great. Don’t normally do sausage during breakfast but was seasoned so well. Servers were always checking up on me. All around great place!

Classic diner that’s been around since the 60s and still standing!!! Had the steak and eggs, steak could have used a little more flavor but none the less it was delicious!

The omelets and chocolate chip pancakes were absolutely tasty. The service was fast and still great even during Thanksgiving Day rush as one of the few diners in the area that is open.
