Waukee Ice Cream Shoppe

We were out on a sunset drive and came across this place. What a cute shoppe! Very clean, nicely decorated in cheer, and plenty of seating! It was right before closing and they were packed! It's no mystery why! Their hard-packed ice cream was delicious!!! I got a mini-scoop of the Banana Pudding. Hubby got his usual vanilla malt and thought it was good, and also a very appropriate small size (for dessert). It seems they also have protein ice cream in the to-go freezer (13g per serving). We'll have to grab some next time!

It's your home town ice cream shop, we're lucky to have one in Waukee. I've always been happy with my service and the flavors on offer. It provides sweet treats while walking downtown, jobs for students, they always have waffle cones on hand, and it's in a cute area that is pedestrian and bike-friendly. Support your local businesses! Now I want ice cream.

Took my kids here for ice cream! There was a strong smell of something when we first walked in where my youngest son said it smelled funny. I can't quite put my finger on it, but it was definitely odd. Ice cream was fine according to my kids.

I had the privilege of visiting Waukee Ice Cream Shoppe with few of my colleagues and we all loved our experience! The shoppe is adorable and I loved all the cow print and pink. They had the cutest little tables for the kiddos to sit and enjoy their treats too. The ice cream was fantastic! I had a Anniversary Cake ice cream (perfect for anyone who loves a good yellow cake.) My colleagues had a Kit-Kat blitz, a pie shaker (made with real pie), and a strawberry Dole soft serve (gluten & dairy free)! Everything was an 11/10 and the staff was great! We also met the owner! She was wonderful and truly cares about her local community! We will definitely be going back soon! Gotta try the pumpkin pie ice cream!

Found this local ice cream shop. Got there around 8pm, and there was quite a few people with ice cream sitting outside, and inside was a line to the door. They could really move the line though! Worth the wait! Lots of flavors to choose from. I’m a big fan of mix ins, and they made a monster cookie blitz PERFECTLY. Oh, and they definitely don’t skimp on the candy mix ins or size. Will return when ever I’m in the area!
