5 Borough Bakery

I came here (5 Borough Bakery, as some of the reviews are from the bakery that 5 Borough replaced) after voting and thought I could pick up a treat for a coworker for her birthday, which was yesterday. They were pretty busy at 9:15 when I arrived. Line was out the the door - I made it inside at around 9:30ish. Was hoping to try the cinnamon roll, but I heard it was a 30-minute wait. Got to the front to order around 9:38. I just asked what three pastries they had that were already done. The cashier was nice and recommended two. Since I had to get to work by 10, I just got two of whatever she recommended (I did say three, but I didn't care at this point). Got my items within 2 minutes. I ate one of them and it was delicious. Not great, not bad. Generous serving size, but comes with a hefty price. Quality wise I didn't see it, couldn't justify the cost. Was slightly stale. Ton of hype, doesn't deliver on the hype. Slash the prices by half and would probably be a decent regular place.

One of the best cheese denish I've ever had. The cashier is super friendly. She even gifted us a cookie. I will bring some friend over for more denish. 😎

Went here for the first time today. The guy who helped us was very friendly and told us about the different pastries. My wife and I got almond croissants which were absolutely delicious! Our daughter got a cinnamon peach pastry of some sort and she loved it. We also got another pastry. I forget the name but it was a little sweet and salty and flaky. It was my wife's favorite thing she tried. We will definitely be back!

This is a great spot for good food options, friendly service, and awesome bagels. You should definitely visit and enjoy some good coffee and good vibes.
