Washington County Public Library

Damascus Library has a great staff, amazing selection for the size of the town and even a section for hikers to access! When my grandchildren visit, the first place they ask to go is the Library (and then the Park so you know it's a great library!). The children's programs are well done, and computer access is never too busy. Great job, Washington County!

Went to Story Time this morning & my 6 month old had such a great time! It was our first time in the library but we're already planning on going back at least once a week. They've got fun events for kids of all ages and adults as well, and fantastic learning resources. Staff were super friendly and helpful, and the book selection was awesome too.

We truly love our local library! The Washington County library in Abingdon is such a gem. It’s full of new releases and a wide variety of older books. They also have an extensive e-book options and audiobook programs. Definitely worth visiting on the regular!!

My kids took their first steps in this library, and have spent hours reading and having fun with the summer reading program treasure box. I have been to much bigger libraries in the region that didn't have half of the selection that WCPL has. They curate their collection so well, I always walk out with a minimum of 4 books to read. Some of the books I've borrowed from this library were catalysts to change my life and habits for the better. I love this library!

Have come here to story time with my preschool aged kids. Great. Great children's department in general - lots of books, a few toys, good computers. My kids have enjoyed. Their e-book library is the only thing a little lacking.
