Black's Fort Inn Bed & Breakfast

My husband and I stayed here for a mini birthday getaway and we had a wonderful time. Cindy is an exceptional hostess- Godly, welcoming, pleasant and so very sweet. She gave us a tour of the house (which is beautiful) and prepared us a delicious breakfast. She made sure that we had everything we needed and was always prompt to respond to any questions. Hospitality like that is nearly impossible to find these days. We felt very well taken care of. Rooms were clean. The dining area was clean and stocked with coffee, tea, snacks, etc. The location is good- Quiet and right outside of town, but not in the middle of nowhere with easy access to town. I would highly recommended Black’s Fort Inn to anyone!

What peace you experience as you sit on the back porch and watch the dozens of geese, the cows in the pasture, the horses lying in the sun, the chickens clucking and the sound of the water fall.|Breakfast was unbelievable. A wonderful spinach frittata, country bacon, at least 2 inch tall biscuit, gravy and a freshly picked tomato from the garden. Delicious.|The hostess, Cindy, was so gracious and informative about the area. |This B&B is very near the entrance to the Virginia Creeper Trail, so it is a perfect place to stay.

Amazing respite & relaxing Inn! Loved the sounds of the waterfall from the back porch in the evening & coffee in the morning! It’s a slice of heaven only 2 blocks grom main street & the Creeper trail !

Black's Fort Inn is the place to stay when visiting the area. It's beautiful and so peaceful, the perfect place for a getaway. It's conveniently located near all the Abingdon attractions and Cindy, the host, welcomes you with open arms. The breakfast is phenomenal and freshly prepared each morning. Having coffee on the porch and enjoying the view and watching the horses is just added pleasure. We'll definitely visit again.

My friend and I had a lovely time at Cindy's bed and breakfast. It is very centrally located yet felt like we were totally surrounded by Nature. The views from the porch, of the pasture and the creek are just lovely! Her horses are so beautiful. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Cindy was a fabulous hostess and really knows how to cook/bake extremely well. She was also a wonderful resource to recommend restaurants and sights to see.
