Wasabi Beach Sushi & Kitchen

The best sushi in MTK and even NYC. The fish is always fresh and some of it caught in MTK and there are so many vegetarian and vegan options for sushi and other dishes. The protein option for the salad can also be made vegetarian - tofu vs chicken. Lovely staff. Some tables inside and tables in their cute backyard. Very peaceful environment. They have sake and Japanese beer and unique seltzers like lychee and yuzu. Also some snacks. Don’t be in a rush they make everything fresh so takes a min but worth the wait

Amazing sushi with unique vegan options. The menu was unlike anything we've ever seen. It rivals our favorite sushi spot back home and we strongly encourage folks to eat here. The atmosphere is incredible. Do you feel like you just walked into a classic Japanese sushi spot. We stayed to eat and have conversation for about 2 hours. Who needs a fancy restaurant when you have great food and great atmosphere.

We ordered Dani roll and Dragon roll. Both were yummy. Wish it was less expansive so we can get more varieties. Not crowded. We were there around 2pm on Saturday. Would recommend giving this place a try. Also tea are complimentary.

Clean restaurant, friendly staff, lots of options/additions to what you order. Very fresh and delicious ingredients -including salmon, tuna & fluke. I ordered the rainbow roll and added mango & crunch, it was excellent. The pricing was surprisingly affordable and they accept Apple Pay! We enjoyed the outdoor seating area. Highly recommend adding this to your stop in Mtk.
