Warrenville Public Library District

Warrenville librarian needs to be fair. My girls were using teen lounge working on their science fair project. 6-8 boys entered and made derogatory remarks. The librarian, said she can’t ask them to leave. She just explained to them they couldn’t behave that way. My girls ended up finding another safe space. The librarian should have asked the boys to leave because they were creating a toxic environment. Shame on the librarian. Even libraries aren’t safe anymore.

I love bringing my kids to Warrenville Public Library. The children’s area is bright and fun, and the programs keep them excited about reading. The staff goes out of their way to make families feel welcome. It’s the perfect spot for learning, exploring, and spending quality time together.

Great story time experience for toddlers and the lawn in the back is beautiful for picnics. I would HIGHLY suggest that you eat outside or pick another library to eat a snack/lunch with your littles. The circulation/front desk staff isn’t the kindest about littles eating and talking in the eating section. Despite it being an eating section, and the littles sitting in their seats actively eating. There are no high chairs as well.

A very nice library with updated furniture where you can relax and enjoy your favorite book or periodical.
