We came here for Valentine’s Day and had an incredible experience. Firstly the atmosphere is wonderful, with touches of Peru hinted in every corner and the intimate seating arrangement you get the energy of a warique (hole-in-the-wall) with the delivery of a refined restaurant. The staff was prompt, friendly, and even with all tables packed they stayed smooth, collaborative and delivered a lasting experience for each guest. The Ceviche Mixto was bright and perfectly balanced, with impeccably fresh seafood and a clean, citrus-forward leche de tigre. We are at Warique and every dish was absolutely delicious. The presentations were beautiful and the quality was outstanding. It was a wonderful experience to enjoy Peruvian cuisine at this level. The atmosphere and service were excellent as well. We will definitely be coming back. thank you to the entire team❤️

Came across Warique during a quick search when we didn’t have time to make it to another Peruvian spot we originally planned to visit, and I’m so glad this one popped up. It delivered wonderfully. The restaurant is small, maybe 10 tables at most. When we arrived, they asked if we had a reservation (we didn’t), but thankfully we were seated quickly. We sat at the one table that was open. The bar was also open which faces the kitchen and gives the patron a front‑row view of the cooking. The service was great and very personal. During dessert, the chef even came over to speak with us, which I found to be such a meaningful touch. The food was excellent, well cooked, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. I have no idea where to begin - this place is absolutely fabulous! Atmosphere - the space is cozy, and they maximized their space great. The chef’s counter is a great feature with the open kitchen, highly recommend sitting there if it’s your first time! The chefs themselves, oh man. You can instantly tell their high level of experience. Even when it picked up, no yelling, service was so smooth, and they ran the kitchen like the place had been open 5 years, not 5 weeks.
