Wapsie Valley Creamery

Checked in a 8:45am for an 11am. Called with a dock at 10:50 out about 12:00. Simple to find. Cooler docks are on 10th(marked red in photo) parking in dirt lot is marked yellow and shipping is marked green. Park in lot walk across to shipping and check in. They do have a restroom but really needs some attention, shoes stick to floor - been to worse😉

Ok this place is a joke! Broker gave me a load within window 11am to 12PM pick up when I arrived at 11:45 and came to check in in the office. They told me I missed my appointment at 11:30 AM so she told me the lady in the office that I’m gonna be a work in so I’m sitting here for more than four hours already. All trucks that came after me got the door right away they have only two doors that they’re loading. This is insane. Just avoid this place.

One of the best places I’ve ever loaded. Cole was fantastic. I was several hours early and came as he was going to lunch. I told him to take his time and enjoy lunch, he ate in 15 minutes and had me loaded 2 hours before appointment time. I called to make sure they were open to me getting there so early and they answered quickly and let me come on in. My only suggestion is maybe a sign to tell trucks where to park for the shipping office, in some less awesome towns semis can get a ticket with a boot on their wheel for assuming they can park in the very convenient lot next to the facility.

Their lunch starts at 11:00 and ends at 1:00 pm. Very slow

Absolutely ridiculous!!! First time in my career i've got to deal with such a picky shipper! Had my trailer washed out before coming here to pickup a load of cheese. After was assigned to the dock, the guy comes out and tells me that trailer is rejected due to some pieces of meat & blood ( i could never found after ) Had to go back 18 miles at JFI and rewash the trailer and after coming back on the dock , the guy comes out with same face telling me that there's still meat in the trailer! Called my dispatch & cancelled the load!6pm & i wasted my day, my time, money on fuel & 2 washouts! Stay away from this company!😡👎🏻
