Denalis On The River

Great night out for New Years. Specialty menu including appetizers, food and drinks. The tossed bbq boneless wings are excellent as are the seasoned french fries. Bourbon bacon burger, hard to say fast, excellent paired with the steamed vegetables.

Came into town for a funeral but was happy to find a local place that was playing football & had decent food! Joey, our bartender, was a hoot! So kind and funny. Played along with us and ensured we had everything we needed. My group and I all had wings and we shared potato skins as an app - all were 8-9/10! Very very good. Highly recommend :)

I really want Denali’s to succeed, Independence needs it to succeed. But the quality of the food and service has gone downhill. The staff do the best they can, but the kitchen gets too far behind, they run out of things every weekend, and wait times are insane. Management/owners need to step up- it’s a great location in a town with limited options

First off, wonderful service, and without advanced notice they accommodated our party of 19 last night following our mother's internment. The problem was the prime rib. It was so tough I couldn't chew it. I advised my brother-in-law and son-in-law to get it and their prime rib was as bad as mine. My daughter got the Margarita pizza and it was bad too, she couldn't eat it. Everyone else loved their food. The burgers were really good and the cod was good. Everyone was happy with their appetizers.

Burgers look like bar food, but tasted good, fries too. Menus have mistakes. But still nice to have a change of pace of the other local restaurants. Owner should invest in a real restaurant or two in this town and REALLY CASH IN.
