Wantagh Public Library

A very nice children's library with an interesting floor plan. It runs on the small size, but it is very well lit and it is inviting as well. The children were friendly and everyone gave each other space. Not many toys nor puzzles for my daughter to play with, but it kept her entertained for an hour. I would definitely visit again.

Easy access, easy parking, good staff. They have the museum passes and a good series of programs. I am a "book junkie" from days gone by (my first job was as a library page restocking the shelves) so I came from a time of loads of shelves with loads of books. It's a different time with ebooks so I'm still trying to acclimate visually to fewer books on the shelf. The library participates with Libby so there is great access and I do love getting my instant access to magazines.

Went on a great trip to the Brooklyn botanical gardens yesterday and then lunch at a wonderful French restaurant. It was so well organized. Thanks to James.

This is a good place for book lovers to browse and borrow both old and new literature. Adult classes , movies and bus trips are available. There is a nice children's library area also and many programs for kids. Staff is friendly and very helpful.
