We stopped at Wally’s cafe in Salmon, ID on our way from Missoula to Idaho Falls and it was one of the best breakfast I have ever had, the fried potatoes were delicious
A good place to eat but, when busy plan on relaxing and enjoying your time. Sundays might be different but with one cook it did take a long time to receive our food. She definitely looked like she needed to delegate and have another cook help. The service was good and so way the food.
Wally’s Cafe does not disappoint! Comfort food extraordinaire❤️. We had Mama’s Breakfast Pot Pie, Avocado Toast Supreme and the Wally Cristo. Wonderful cafe in downtown Salmon with friendly service from Becky!
My husband and I recently visited Wally's Cafe and had an amazing experience! It’s got all the perfect, homey, family-owned vibes that you just know is gonna make some great food. It’s definitely worth the longer-than-usual wait! Your patience will be rewarded. I ordered their twist of a famous dish, the Wally Cristo, which was an absolute delight with its combination of fry bread, bacon, cheese, and a sprinkle of powdered sugar. It’s served with a side of rich, creamy apple butter that I should have ordered extra off. It’s deliciously sweet. What unique and delicious meal! A beautiful execution of the classic dish! The Farmer's Omelet was packed with flavorful ingredients that satisfied my taste buds. It was jam packed with the goods (sizzlin’ bacon, sausage, ham, cheddar cheese, season
Great, old time family diner. The staff is super nice. The coffee is excellent. The food is homemade and worth the wait. I live in the Columbia River Gorge Scenic Area in Washington State and the same breakfast would cost double. If you are in a hurry, go to Burger King.
