Waldhorn Restaurant

We went to Waldhorns with friends from out of town who appreciate good beer & German food. We all also love Spaetzle especially with cheese, bacon & onions so we ordered that to share. It was excellent although there were green onions & I prefer sautéed or crispy regular onions instead. My friends were impressed by the menu options & had a hard time deciding but we all enjoyed the selection of German beer on draft. While I had the duck (tender yet crispy very tasty) my friends had the Sauerbraten which he said was delicious & the Schnitzel stuffed with Ham & cheese which also got rave reviews. So if you want good beer... an excellent menu selection of German specialties ... a lovely German decor & atmosphere ... and friendly staff then Waldhorns is highly recommended.

We absolutely loved this German restaurant! The food was amazing, authentic, and full of flavor, and the service was excellent very friendly and attentive staff. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, a perfect place for a great meal. The only downside is that they are open for just a few hours a week, which is a bit disappointing because we would love to come more often. Highly recommend this place!

I was the only chocolate woman in the house for the hour and half I was there. I was treated very nice. The food blew my mind. Please try the Kartoffelpuffer- Two potatoe-cakes with applesauce. It is made with love for sure. I have bought the kit out of world market before not the same when cooked authentic. Also for " vorspeisen" aka appetizer try the big pretzel. The drink of choice was the pina colada slush and he made it to perfection. My entree aka " hauptspeisen" was Rahmragout vom Schwein. That is sautéed pork tips and mushroom in a light cream sauce over spätzle with vegetables. My waiter Deyan fixed that pina colada please ask for him. Nick is a wonderful manager he came by to check on us. Great place please check them out.

This is a very authentic German restaurant based on my limited knowledge of German cuisine. It’s the go-to choice for my wife and me when we crave a slice of Black Forest cake which I would highly recommend if you have not tried yet. I had the special yesterday which was the pork shank. It was delicious and reminded of the same dish we had when visiting Munich. The only minor disappointment for me was that it did not have the skin on it. The meat was fork tender and the flavor was on point so I’m not complaining at all. Highly recommend! My wife ordered the trout and in addition to the Black Forest we also ordered the pumpkin spice cheesecake.

Food was great, even though somethings were forgot the waiter Aiden was pretty good. We did say a one of the plates given to us was unclean but other than that. We would come back again and try more of the food. As my friends first experience having german food. Atmosphere was great the place is clean although where we sat it was a bit chilly near a vent. I would recommend coming here for yourself & trying the different food options.
