Corner Cafe and Catering

I stopped here for lunch yesterday and I'm so glad I did. I got the vegetable plate and the collard greens were out of this world great. Not everyone can make collard greens but this place can. I haven't had collard greens like that since my grandmother used to make them. Also, Alan was my server and he was absolutely terrific. In my opinion, this is a place to have true southern cooking. I want to go back and get some of the banana pudding I saw in the cooler because if the collard greens were that good, I'm guessing they've got other great stuff too.

If you are looking for breakfast restaurant near Carowinds, Corner Cafe is the best spot! We didn't regret trusting the Google reviews this place had. We got marinated Greek tips with a side of bean and corn. The meal was great, and plate was big as well. Also, cold salad plate was delicious. It was served with potato and chicken salad and coleslaw. With crackers it was even better. And our waiter Teresa was so friendly and made our day. Thank you so much Corner Cafe Team!

I've been coming here for years. The food is amazing and service is A-1! It's a no-frills cafe. All the staff from the owner down to servers, cooks and delivery staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this cafe. P.S. - they serve breakfast from open to close.
