Waffle House

I cannot say enough good things about this Waffle Home! We came here for the Valentine’s Day event since it was our very first date location! (We are now Married) The service was incredible and the food perfect. Everyone was having fun including the staff. We can’t wait for next year!!! <3 Shoutout to our server Jamal! He was attentive and incredibly friendly. They are lucky to have him on their staff. Also to the young lady greeting at the door! She was so sweet!

Placed an online order before I went to work on 3/4/2026 around 4:55am. Order showed it would be ready at 5:15am and that's exactly when I showed up. Walked inside on the cook was sitting in a booth asleep & the waitress was tacking a big order from a couple because it took her over 5 minutes. When she finally finished and I asked for my food, she said "oh shit"! The receipt was on the counter but the food hadn't even been started yet. I definitely didn't have another 20 minutes to waist so I told them to cancel it. Well it's been 2 days now & Ive even email Waffle House online and still haven't heard back or received a refund.

Need to throw MAD props to Donna, Sharonda & Marie. The entire team at waffle house in Selma exemplifies teamwork. No matter who is your dedicated server, they all treat you as their guest and fill any need. The food is delicious and always correct. It feels like family when you go. Like cheers, everyone knows your name.

Just left Waffle House and arrived home and my order was wrong. Tried to call to inform them that they forgot to add my eggs and you cannot get a live person. I stay a distance away and could not go back. They have changed so much in this aspect. There should always be communication with customers for issues like this. I’m just saying. That’s why they got a 3 star

Busy as usual So we sat at the counter where we we helped immediately while others waited to sit at tables Hash brown bowl w sausage eggs scrambled a d cheese w onions and mushrooms sauteed topped Waffle Grand slam breakfast Lemon water and sweet tea Wendy went the extra mile on a busy Saturday to get me a lemon water. I wasn't feeling well prior to coming in and I asked for a seltzer water but they dont have it so Wendy offered an alternative. Thanks again Wendy
