My wife and I have been to the Old North State Food Hall several times, but this was our first time eating at Pat Thai. We got fried gyoza and both ordered Pad Thai with chicken. They were very accommodating with our customization; my wife wanted spicy with no peanuts but I did want peanuts and asked her to make it as spicy as possible. I was not disappointed! Rarely do I get food from a restaurant that I consider spicy enough, but I’m telling you it was perfect! I wouldn’t have wanted it any spicier. And the flavor was fantastic. Food came out quick and everything was wonderful. I cannot recommend this place enough if you are craving a good Pad Thai.
Tried the tonkatsu ramen and spring rolls. I asked for extra spicy, which in turn was not spicy at all. The meat was good, and the broth was okay. The spring rolls had hardly any filling, though fried perfectly.
Pad Thai and red curry is great. Lady chef is very welcoming. We were late, but She opened for us and cooked.
Yum!! Grateful to have Pat Thai in the neighborhood! We’ve tried their Drunken Noodles, Pad See Ew, Orange Chicken, and Beef Bulgolgi and all were delicious!
As someone who truly loves food and pays close attention to flavor, balance, and hospitality, Pat Thai Asian Fusion Cuisine at the Old North State Food Hall has quickly become a standout favorite not just for me, but for my sons as well. This is now our go-to place for ramen, drunken noodles, and chicken fried rice, and every visit reinforces why. The ramen is deeply comforting and well-layered, the drunken noodles are bold and satisfying, and the chicken fried rice hits that perfect balance of savory and familiar executed with care rather than shortcuts. What truly elevates the experience, however, is the hospitality. The owners are genuinely kind, welcoming, and clearly take pride in what they serve. You feel that warmth the moment you walk up to the counter, and it carries through the
