Altas Coffee & Deli is such a charming little spot in downtown Selma. The space has a warm, relaxed vibe that makes it easy to settle in and enjoy your coffee for a while. The seating area is cozy and thoughtfully styled, with comfortable chairs, plants, and soft lighting that makes it feel inviting rather than rushed. It’s the kind of place where you could easily meet a friend, read for a bit, or just enjoy a quiet morning. From the moment you walk in the aesthetic wows you. The staff were warm and welcoming, and then you see the pastry display case. Try not to fall over or pass out! Their menu is vast offering savory and sweet options including Paninis, quesadillas and subs. My wife and I both had the Cinna-milk shaken espresso. My daughter had the Horchata. They were both fabulous. I had the quesadilla ranchero and it hit the spot.

Excellent experience! The ladies were all super helpful and friendly. The menu had a great variety for breakfast and lunch. I had a grilled cheese and the cinnamilk latte and it was DELICIOUS. The sandwich was a top tier grilled cheese with just the right amount of seasoning and I had to pace my drink sips because the latte was just too good - I regretted not getting the large! The atmosphere is relaxing and cozy while also having a clean, modern look. I will definitely be back for some of my work-from-home days. With that in mind, you should know there is a section in the back for kids so if you’re trying to focus you probably want to stay up front.

Finally, a coffee shop that truly does it all! Alta’s is a fantastic addition to town. The drinks are top tier and the food selection is excellent with great variety! The layout is perfect for everyone. They have a dedicated play area for kids, as well as tables for studying or remote work. It’s a friendly, welcoming environment whether you are catching up with a friend or just grabbing a quick brew. Great vibes and excellent service. This is exactly what the neighborhood needed!

Selma/Clayton friends - RUN, don't walk to this new coffee shop🤍☕️✨ This coffee shop in Selma is amazing and truly a hidden gem! Cozy, beautiful atmosphere, great food options, and really good coffee. Everything we tried was delicious. Just like others have mentioned, their menu offers a variety of different options and flavors. Not only the food and drinks were delicious, but the staff is absolutely amazing. They are super friendly and very attentive. There’s a little tucked-away kids’ play area, which I found it to be so thoughtful. If you love coffee and good food then this place is a must…
