Vona's Dairy Bar

Paid $7 for this supposed to be 3 tenders and fried got 2 and a nub! Not worth the money

Vona's is the best deli I've ever been to & there's a reason it's been open since 1980. All their lunch meat is exceptional because it's baked there in-store. It's not soaked in chemicals and preservatives like the stuff you get at grocery stores. 11/10 I highly recommend.

* I'd give 6 stars if I could * First thing to note is that they bake their meat in house and slice it fresh to order. It's not the greasy, slimy stuff you get from a supermarket that comes from a factory farm and is vacuum sealed in a pool of chemicals & preservatives. Their roast beef is so tender and juicy that it could pass for prime rib and the turkey & baked ham are exceptional. I've been all over the country for work and have tried hundreds of delis and sub shops over many, many years. Vona's is the gold standard & I always travel far out of my way to get there. If you're ever within 20 miles of Connellsville make it a priority to stop by and get a hoagie or 2.
