Connellsville Bed and Breakfast

A great place to stay while riding the GAP. It is located a block off the GAP and within a short walk to a handful of dining options. We were warmly greeted and shown around the property. There is a secure garage to store your bike, and the rooms are very clean, comfortable, and uniquely and tastefully decorated based on a European theme, e.g. the German Room, Irish Room, etc. We were asked when we would like breakfast the next morning and if we had any allergies or aversions. It was an excellent stay. I would be happy to stay here again and recommend it to GAP bikers.

Great B&B for a stopover, on the way to Falling Water and Kentuck Knob nearby. Very comfortable beds and great breakfast. Interesting theming of each room based on different countries and the family links to the owner. Super clean, good wifi. Perhaps a little noisy in the early hours, but not really an issue. Great talking to the owner over breakfast about the history of the place.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Connellsville Bed and Breakfast! The hosts were so welcoming, informative, and truly cared about us having a good stay. We were biking through on the GAP and they had secure bike storage. The room was comfortable and clean. The B&B was walkable to restaurants for dinner. And the breakfast!! It was so good and able to accommodate dietary restrictions. The breakfast had me ready to go back on the trail as we headed towards Cumberland and saw some beautiful views. Thanks for having us!

Nice accomodations, particularly for bike packers (like us). They had excellent and secure bike storage, with tools, rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast was satisfying. I would stay again.

It was a wonderful stay with a delicious breakfast served| each morning at the time of your choosing between 7-8:30 AM. I personally think that Lucy should get out of the B&B business and teach seminars on the proper way to run a B&B but only if she agrees to be the host when we return. She is gracious, kind and attentive to the needs of her guest. Kudos to Lucy and Brittany for providing exceptionally clean rooms with warm and friendly service! The only negative would be the vanity in the German room has a flush kick plate which can be hard on the toes if you are used to the recessed type. Regardless, we would return even if it meant that we had to wear steel toe shoes to the bathroom. :-)
