VJ's Florida Grill & Barbecue

I absolutely love this restaurant. I eat here 2 times a week. Food is amazing service is amazing. I travel for work all over the country and I've eaten at a lot of places But this is definitely in my top five favorite. This is the best restaurant in monticello fl hands down you won't get better service anywhere else. I can promise you that.

My family each enjoyed our meals very much. Great service and atmosphere. Their smoked Mullet is really good.

The meals were very good. I had the blackened pork loin grilled with veggies and mashed potatoes. It was a very hearty portion and delicious. My husband had the bbq ribs. He said they were good. Each meal was around $20. (a little high compared to area restaurants) The only sad part of the meal was the German chocolate cake and ice cream. The cake is a Pepperidge Farms frozen cake and was not good. We lift over half of it. At $6 that was a waste for us.

I call an order some Smoke wings an they gave me fried wings the Manager said an I quote " we smoke the wings first then fry them "🤔🤔 now who does that Sonny's don't do that. Can y'all please help me to understand this .so if you want good smoke wings please don't go to VJ'S BBQ in Monticello Florida go to SONNY'S BBQ .

I was a bit skeptical about trying this place because of some personal reviews I’d heard about the staff being rude, but my experience was completely different. My server, Jasmine, was absolutely wonderful and so kind, attentive, and helpful. She recommended the Chicken Marsala, and it was delicious! The food and service were both great, and I left really impressed. I’m glad I decided to give it a try!
