Viva La Vida

Great little spot with many traditional Mexican dishes. We ordered the chicken flautas, veggie burrito, and huevos en salsa verde. Salsa verde could be a bit spicer but overall good. Lady was very attentive and making sure we were attended. Good customer service and loved la agua de Jamaica.

I went to this place with my friends not really knowing what to expect but when ordering the food and just sitting down, we had enough time to order and just talk before the waiter came to order our food. The food itself was hot and tasted fresh. If you're thinking of coming, come with a good appetite because this food is very mouth-watering. I ordered the Birra tocos, the torta, a horchata, a torta, and many more, and it's safe to say that those options were good. Come in mind when coming depending on what you get the food will take some time but it is worth it. I will, however, point out that the horchata was very refreshing, and the spices were at the bottom, just like how it usually is when made homemade. I ordered the “steak” burrito bowl. The so called steak was very tiny pieces of chipped beef. See photo. The steak is by the tip of my fork in photo. Very disappointed. The overall flavor of the dish was good and 1/3 filled me up just definitely didn’t look or taste like steak

Order a variety of tacos carnitas, Chorizo and the best for me Barrios tacos. New to the menu but the most flavorful of the three. Probably spelled it wrong lol. Best taco. The others were good, needed some more flavor though. I would come again

I normally don’t bother with reviews but I had to for this place. Flavor AMAZING. Food cook to perfection. Price very reasonable. By far the BEST Mexican spot in NJ.
