Taqueria La Casita

I live in the area and love trying out local restaurants, Taquerua La Casita did not disappoint. The atmosphere was great, wel lit and busy. Its a small place, but small places tend to be masters of their craft. I got two orders of tacos, tacos al pastor and tacos de costilla (recommended by the employee working he counter). Both were great, fresh and bold flavors. The pastor came with a slice of pineapple on top which was a nice touch. I really enjoyed the Verde sauce that came with the order. I will definitely return in the future. Thanks for the awesome food. I want to try every item on the menu 🙂

I heard about these "Al Pastor" tacos and they did not disappoint! Really enjoyed these with some delicious salsas, just the right amount of meat to cheese to topping ratio. I would easily put it up in the top 5 I have had in NJ. The "Arabes" tacos were also tasty, more like carnitas wrapped up in a tortilla. I also got the shrimp and steak which were good, but I think pork is the way to go here. Also want to say the family working there were so kind and nice. Very professional and the place was spotless. Would highly recommend!

No matter who you are or where you’re from, there’s a strong chance that you’re familiar with the meaning of “Taco Tuesday,” which exists across the US, from Los Angeles to small-town Tennessee, from food trucks in the barrios to high-end restaurants in hipster haunts. For some of us, it might simply call for going out and getting tacos or even just preparing our own. Situated in the middle of a residential neighborhood in Roselle Park, this establishment is set inside a small corner suburban home where some of my colleagues decided on takeout, which came highly recommended. This place is a slightly hidden gem, and the past 5 times I’ve gone, has never failed. The staff is all family and treat you equally the same. My lady and I got: chicken tacos(first photo) guacamole, hibiscus drinks(jamaica for mi gente) rib tacos with cheese( the ones with the phone shaped beef rib) hunger was calling and I had to pick up. Highly recommend this place, they even have a bidet for you stinkies!

A nice, friendly & family owned Taco spot in the cut is definitely worth coming through and getting some tacos for.
