The Hungry Detective was so excited to investigate this location and thrilled to be the first one to review as well on this platform… Just let me start by saying that Vinea replaced Sermet’s an old Daniel Island fine dining staple that I was quite fond of, but I must say Vinea has exceeded all of my expectations when it comes to fine dining on Daniel Island!!! I sat at the bar and Sara was so attentive and wonderful…she makes the best Manhattan and knows her stuff and a true rock star!!! We were greeted by Kelly the owner and such a gem. Just had a fantastic dinner here—it's the old Sermet's spot reborn with new owners and a killer kitchen upgrade. Food was spot on, every dish packed with flavor and just right. Service? Couldn't ask for better—big thanks to Hailey (fingers crossed on the name spelling!) who kept everything running smooth, popping over when we needed her but never overdoing it. Loved the outdoor setup too, same chill vibe as before, just kicking back with good eats as the sun dipped down. Rare treat these days when a fave place doesn't turn into some bland chain—nah, this one's trading up to another winner.

We had an amazing dinner last night . It was the first time being there since Sermet’s left and I was SO pleasantly surprised ! The nice is the same. -very cozy and comfortable and special and the food and service and atmosphere were amazing !! We were there for our anniversary. The octopus appetizer was amazing !!! And I had the salmon on my arugula salad and it was hands down the best salmon I’ve had .

Wow what a gem on Daniel Island. Amy the bar tender was fantastic and made our experience a one of a kind. The Grouper special was awesome.

New owners are wonderful! Happy to see this place cleaned up and doing so well. We had a wonderful evening, the Beef Carpaccio was amazing and our waitress, Amy, was perfectly charming! We look forward to dining with them again.
