Customer Reviews
Victrola Coffee Roasters is one of Capitol Hill’s most enduring cafés — a space that feels rooted in Seattle’s coffee culture. Step inside and you’ll find a warm hum: the hiss of steaming milk, grinders at work, and sunlight pouring through large windows onto brick and wood walls. It’s equal parts neighborhood hub and coffee temple, where regulars and first-timers both feel at home. The Coffee Victrola is all about clarity and balance. The espresso is rich and clean, cappuccinos and lattes are smooth without being heavy, and pour-overs highlight distinct origin notes. For those looking beyond espresso, options like cold brew, kombucha on tap, and loose-leaf teas round out the menu. Prices are fair for the quality, and the drinks consistently deliver what makes Seattle coffee famous — craf
This review is about sustainability only! 😌 By 2050 there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish. While I so appreciate that you offer real, reusable mugs in house, I was sad to see that most folks staying for their coffee to work or meet a friend, were drinking out of single use plastics heading to the landfill. (Over 95% of plastics that we recycle don’t actually get recycled). Because you clearly have dishwashing infrastructure (see: the dish bins!), I wonder how you could better articulate for-here options to your customers? Maybe asking if they’re staying. Or promoting reuse on socials. Or sell aluminum canned water instead of plastic bottled. But we can’t keep normalizing this mess. Customers and businesses must be meeting halfway to chip away at the plastic pollution crisi
On my way to Volunteer Park, I came across Victrola Coffee Roasters and decided to pop in. I ordered a cappuccino, which came with a nice touch of sparkling water on the side. The cappuccino was fantastic! Smooth, rich, and just delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it a great spot to sit and chat with friends. I’m really glad I stopped by and would definitely recommend it to anyone in the area!
Great coffeehouse, with curated music. I love the L-shaped booth in the back and the large circle of soft leather chairs. By 4 PM the pastry selection can be limited, but it’s good quality items backed offsite.
Surprisingly this place has really good oat milk. Tasted great when I added it into my golden turmeric chai. Warm welcoming barista with knowledgeable suggestion on drinks.
