Vicco's Charcoalburger Drive-In

Great stop for a bit. Great food and gift shop. Check it out if you're looking for something new to eat. The elk burger is my favorite and my wife favorite is the green chili, chili fries. Can't go wrong with what ever you order. Right off the highway on the frontage road. Be safe everyone.

We drive past here all the time and it’s always busy, so finally decided to stop in for lunch! I had little expectations TBH but… it was AMAZING, with proper char grilled burgers and everything. We used the walk up window and you can either sit inside the heated covered patio, or outside at picnic tables, which had a great vibe. They’ve been around since 1953, so it’s a little piece of Glenwood history. We’ll definitely be back! (I had a single beef, my husband had a triple turkey burger and we shared large onion rings.. definitely trying a milkshake next time!)

What a hidden gem! You wouldn't know it based on the outside appearance and can be easily missed by driving by but I highly recommend coming here if you want some really awesome charcoal burgers! Grabbed onion rings and a single charcoal burger on my stop through. The service was quick and the burgers and rings were great.

By far the best burger I've had in a long time! Perfect thickness - not too thin, not too thick, perfectly cooked, great flavor, fresh toppings and a tasty bun. It was WAY better than any burgers I've had recently from well known burger joints. The shakes and the BLT were also hits with our party. We make it a point to stop in to Vicco's every time we are in Glenwood. They've been around since 1953, so they know what they are doing. We'll be back!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One of the best burgers in town! I ordered the double meat beef patty’s, cooked exactly the way I like it, with perfectly melted cheese, fresh lettuce, and a toasted bun that held it all together. The flavor was spot-on — juicy, smoky, and just messy enough to know it’s the real deal. The onion rings were crispy and golden, with that satisfying crunch in every bite, and the Diet Coke was ice-cold to wash it all down. Great food, great portion sizes, and worth every penny. Highly recommend if you’re craving a legit burger experience! They also have BYSON, ELK, TURKEY and VEGETARIAN burgers.. THEY ARE CURRENTLY ON “SUMMER HOURS” TIL’ 2ND WEEK OF SEPTEMBER… THEN THE HOURS GO TO 9am-9pm.
