Simply put, this was a heavenly & blissful experience. Of course at that same time experiences like that come at a steep cost but for this place, it was worth it. As I set just one foot inside the area I was already greeted by an older gentleman who might be the boss/owner of the restaurant. Not gonna lie, I was pretty intimidated coming in here because the staff are very well dressed and here I am in a sports coat, hoodie, jeans and sneakers. The area as a while looked immaculate, clearly above my pay grade and I joked to him about it as he led me to my table. He also jested if I also have the money to afford the food here. No worries fam, I'm good on that. As I chose my place to sit at, a waiter came only mere seconds and took my order. She was very nice and accommodating as everything
Via Brasil is my favorite Brazilian restaurant. I have been going there for several years. Initially, I went to the upscale Ipanema restaurant across the street, which serves Portuguese & Brazilian food. One day, I was in the mood for some Brazilian food and wanted to feel more at home. So, I crossed the street to a restaurant that looked like a place I would find in Brazil, Via Brasil! I felt right at home. The waiter who served me explained the menu and how to add the condiments to my food. Since I go back year after year, I usually bring my younger son with me. Of course, I get the same waiter, and he teaches my son how to pronounce the words in Brazilian Portuguese. Sharing these moments makes me feel connected and grateful for the warmth of this place. Recently, my older son threw me
Do not waste your money on a high end steakhouse. This Brazilian spot does enough. Was able to get a two drinks, share a picanha plate, and share a dessert for just about 100 dollars. The only thing that I was not aware before was the 20% gratuity added to your bill. But this place was amazing.
Wonderful place and great staff! Food was good but it felt kind of off that main course side dishes weren’t big enough. Our waitress was great!
I respect the culture, but unfortunately I can’t accept the taste. The fish is sooo dry and no taste, and the steak is overcooked.
