Vermont Bed and Breakfast at Russell Young Farm

We had a great weekend stay at the Russell Young Farm B&B. The owners Carin and Luke were so welcoming and helped us plan an awesome itinerary for our short visit including the foliage chairlift ride at Mad River Glen, farmers market, apple picking, bike ride, and great local restaurant recommendations. The house, room, views, and breakfast were amazing too. We highly recommend!

My husband and I spent 2 nights here for a little “babymoon” this last weekend. We had such a wonderful experience! The first thing we noticed was the amazing view from the front porch. Let me tell you, pictures just can’t do it justice. It is something special. The house itself is beautiful and cozy, our room was spacious and comfortable and Carin and Luke were the most gracious hosts. They’re so warm and relaxed, it feels like visiting family...that is, if your family prepares amazing breakfasts for you every morning! The food was SO GOOD! We were so impressed that they press their own apple cider, make their own maple syrup and grow the most beautiful flowers!! Us and another couple stayed for 2 nights at this lovely bed and breakfast hosted by a delightful family. Good beds, beautiful views, comfy seating area for all of us, and the breakfasts were delish! Carin and Luke have cute children; their 2 friendly dogs are kept separate from guests but petting is allowed if you can’t resist. Their recommendation for eating at The Tillerman just down the hill was spot on - we don’t remember when we’ve had such a pleasant dining experience. We would definitely return to this Vermont B & B at Russell Young Farm.

My son and I visited Vermont this October to spend time with my college student granddaughter and see the beauty of the state in the Fall. We originally planned to stay at a different B&B, but my son with disabilities wasn’t able to navigate their stairs. At the last moment, we searched for a new place to spend 2 nights and the Russell Young Farm surfaced as an option. Carin and Luke went out of their way to accommodate my son. We enjoyed our stay there, and the warm, friendly family atmosphere. The Farm was everything it was advertised to be and more. Breakfast was great and with a wonderful mountain view.

We stayed at the bed and breakfast on a snowy day in February and it was magical. We loved the amenities, especially the big common room with piano and fireplace. They have a cabinet full of fun games and lots of great magazines and books to enjoy by the fire. Luke and Carin are incredibly attentive and wonderful hosts. Carin made a special gluten free breakfast for me that was incredible. Don't miss this gem overlooking the gorgeous Green Mountains.
